how do the congregation view the inactive ones who no longer associate?

not with disdain, we are told but as lost sheep “still our brothers “ it is said that god loves them and they too must do what they can to help them.. why have we strayed ?

Based on real life incidents.

1) Disfellowshipped person (me) - meets them on cart (pre covid) - they aren't supposed to talk to me. But I get a big hug, huge smiles and they say 'we want you back, we want you back.'

2) Disfellowshipped person (me) - meets them on cart (pre covid) - they aren't supposed to talk to me. They stuff their noses in the air and turn the other way.

To the first one I say, "I am still the same person I was. I have been lied about and you have been lied to. There are lots of us who have realised the Watchtower Organisation tells lies. When you are ready to leave, you'll find you we are all here just waiting for you. You will never be alone or abandoned. Don't be afraid to leave."

If appropriate go and get them coffee or hot chocolate or something nice they like.

To the second one, I say nothing and just shake my head in disbelief and they get NO COFFEE.

Not on earth could mean dry land. So maybe they'll be in the sea practicing their swimming with millstones.

(Matthew 18:6) . . .But whoever stumbles one of these little ones who put faith in me, it is more beneficial for him to have hung around his neck a millstone such as is turned by an ass and to be sunk in the wide, open sea.

Or maybe they'll be wishing they could go swimming with millstones, as this is the preferable option for those who stumble the little ones who have put faith in Jesus Christ.

You could wear it on a virtual Bethel tour, along with a zipped up hi-viz jacket and a hard hat. If the CO is on your tour, send him a message saying you'd love to work with him as soon as Covid is over. If you watch his face carefully, you should see him lose his peace of mind.

Depends where you wear it. Like a pile of bricks in an art gallery, the environment defines what it is.

Will you be wearing it to a Zoom meeting or a protest? Or both? Will you be wearing a face mask? Or a balaclava?

Baptism during Covid - pool must tough the ground?

the july 2020 announcements mentions that baptism can be held in an “inflatable pool” as long as it touches the ground.

the pool must not be “on a terrace, flat roof, balcony, etc.”.

has anyone ever noticed that as a requirement?.

True but I can see some of this stuff being sent around as gifts. I still have a few things I was given. For example, a wooden spoon with diamante and some message on it. Also a Sophia badge made from a bottle top.

The tee-shirts/dresses could be worn during the social side of Zoom meetings or at social gatherings. Children could wear some of the stuff during Zoom meetings.
